Without proper ventilation and drainage, moisture can accumulate between the water-resistive barrier and siding of a building. Stucco and stone claddings require specialized moisture control. Absorptive claddings increase the risk of solar-driven moisture, which puts wood substrates at high risk of water damage. A rainscreen separates the cladding from the building, allowing drainage and moisture evaporation. DELTA-DRY STUCCO & STONE is a ventilated rainscreen with a factory pre-installed mortar screen that reduces scratch coat mortar consumption. Air-gaps on the interior and exterior side of the membrane make DELTA-DRY STUCCO & STONE the ideal protection behind adhered manufactured stone veneer and conventional stucco.
